New York City - the biggest and best museums and then Halloween in the Hudson Valley. Home stays for traveling playwrights, daughter’s wedding, massive local fire, a friend becomes a doctor, burial of ashes, a not-to-be-believed personal collection opened itself to my camera, a mining town - my camera smiled this year. An eye-opening Tucson Book Fair, volcano at Pompeii and the Garden of the Gods. Haltingly I traded a beautiful Hasselblad system for a Nikon D800 and two lenses. Bold move.
